Travel Diaries - Lavender Labyrinth, Mount Shasta

As I planned my trip to Mount Shasta, I called upon Archangel Raphael to help me with my itinerary. Archangel Raphael is the patron of travellers. He has created magical synchronicities and  helped me see and experience a place very differently, I certainly couldn't have planned it that way. 

So in Mount Shasta, it wasn’t a coincidence that I saw a brochure for Lavender Fields at the Spa. And so I planned a visit with a friend. We were able to hire a car and driver and she even offered to bring us food and set up a little picnic. It was a magical ride to the Lavender farms where this wonderful lady even offered to play the music that we liked. She really took care of us and it was so beautiful to receive that. It was like the finest detail was taken care of. It was the angelic way! She shared her story of how she was “called” by the Mountain and came here to make this place home.

Once we reached this place, it was far more beautiful and high vibrational than I could imagine. I knew this was going to be an amazing memorable experience but it was beyond that, and is still a memory I cherish. 

The centrepiece was the Mountain, with its snow covered landscape it loomed over us. And there were these stunning lavender fields at its base, rows and rows of neatly planted lavender in full bloom. A stunning fountain complemented the vibe. It was no less than heaven, the clear blue skies, clean water flowing through the fountain, air so fresh and the heavenly fragrance of Lavender. I instantly felt uplifted and joyful just being here. I thought of Archangel Lavender and felt her energies.

We were able to take some lavender straight from the plants and we discovered that there was a Labyrinth made entirely by planting Lavender to create the Labyrinth. A Labyrinth is a Spiritual tool to access your centre. It is a deeply sacred journey to your core. There is only one way to enter and exit. I had walked the Labyrinth before in Glastonbury, so I looked forward to this sacred experience at the foot of the Mountain in this high vibrational space. It was a gift. 

I began the walk and as I walked this spiritual maze, the spiral seemed to come back to the same place, and it reminded me that in life the circle of growth keeps bringing you back to familiar patterns, beliefs that one must re-examine and reframe to grow and reach our true potential. I can think of it like a tree, the inner work is like the roots, the foundation for the tree to blossom and bloom and reach its full potential, scale new heights.

I also realise that even though I seem to be going in circles, but the way I look at things is different as my perspective is different, it showed me my growth and I honoured my journey. I found appreciation for myself, my growth work, my life, my work and my inner world. 

The labyrinth filled me with gratitude, for all the gifts, for a life filled with magical synchronicities, for being here, for being called to this place. I entered the centre with reverence and I ask that all that does not serve me be released and I created space for the new. I planted the seeds of intention, dreams, hopes and asked that the Spirit supports me. I surrendered to my purpose, my divine plan and I thanked all the beings that walk with me. I felt deeply grateful for this angelic life. I thanked the Mountain for "calling" me.

As I retraced my steps, I looked up at the Mountain and the skies and I was filled with joy and I smiled, silently thanking Archangel Raphael.
